Wyonna Pruitt Brown

Mrs. Wyonna Pruitt Brown, age 96, of South Fulton, TN passed away on
December 22, 2019 at Divericare of Martin.

Mrs. Brown was born in Weakley County, TN on January 20, 1923 to the
late Cayce Harrison Pounds and Ivie Cashion Pounds. She was a member
of the South Fulton Baptist Church. Wyonna opened Pruitt Real Estate, Inc.
where she and the late Martha Phelps were the first women to own and
operate a real estate office. She was a Notary at Large and belonged
to the Notary Association. Before opening her own business she was
the office manager for the Henry I. Siegel Co. in South Fulton.

She is survived by a niece Linda Hall of Louisville, KY, nephews Jerry
Pounds of Spring, TX and Dean Pounds of South Fulton,TN.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her
first husband William Franklin Pruitt, her second husband Walter B. Brown,
her daughter Betty Mikel, a sister Deloma Bushart and a brother Charles
William "Billie" Pounds.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 28 at 12 noon at the Hornbeak
Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:30 am until the funeral hour.
