Wilson Lee Fowler

October 7, 1913 — June 1, 2019

Mr. Wilson Lee Fowler, age 105, of the Cayce area passed away Saturday, June
1, 2019 at the Obion County Nursing Home.

Wilson was born in Wickliffe, KY on October 7, 1913 to the late William David and Leona Cosby Fowler.
He was a member of the Cayce United Methodist Church and had worked for
Armour in Memphis, TN, the former Swift Company in Fulton, KY, Powell Construction
in Union City, TN, Roper Pecan Company in Hickman, KY and was Co-Owner of the former
Fowlers Grocery of Cayce, KY. Wilson was a Kentucky Colonel, an avid fisherman, loved
the winters in Florida, he was a great story teller and was a poetry writer.

He is survived by a daughter, Annell Goodwin of Cayce, KY, five grandchildren;
Alan (Kelley) Goodwin of Dyersburg, TN, Derek (Lori) Goodwin of Arrington, TN,
Shana (Ricky) Walker Central City, KY, Melanie (Greg) Curlin of Fulton, KY,
Valerie (Todd) Warren of Murray, KY, twelve grandchildren and eleven great-great
grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Monette Bynum
Fowler, a daughter Betty Glenn Harrison and a brother Ray Fowler.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday at the Cayce United Methodist
Church with burial to follow in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim
Wolfgang officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Monday.
Mr. Fowler will lie in state at the church from 10AM Tuesday until the hour of service.
