Willie Ann Pierce

Mrs. Willie Ann (Purvine) Pierce, 63, of Hickman died at Baptist Health in Paducah on February 22, 2019.

She was a home maker and a member of the St. John’s #2 in Lake County, Tennessee and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Pierce was born on April 29, 1955 to the late James and Wilie Mae Purvine.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Pierce, two brothers, James Clifford and Roy Purvine and 2 sisters, Denise and Gloria Purvine.

She is survived by her sons, Raymond Pierce, Jr. of Hickman and Stephen (Georgianna ) Pierce of Lawrenceburg, KY, daughter, Amanda Pierce of Hickman, brother, Donald Purvine of Hickman and sisters, Vernell Maxwell and Ethleen Span, both of Allentown, PA and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pierce will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 28^th at the Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman with Rev. Steven Turner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.  Melvin Smith, Willie Cross, Shelby Smith, Eddie Cox and Marcus Smith will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive visitors at the Johnson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Hickman, KY on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
