Willie Frank "Crow" Smith

Mr. Willie Frank "Crow" Smith died November 3, 2011 at the Martin Healthcare Center in Martin, TN.

Crow was an avid sports enthusiast. Not only was he enthusiastic about sports, he displayed his skills on the courts at Miles High
School. He coached basketball at Rosenwald Jr. High and men's
independent basketball, was an offical in the TSSAA and also coached little league baseball. He was a devoted member and former officer at the Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church in South Fulton.
He was the former owner and operator of Phillip 66 Service Station on Broadway in South Fulton,TN, former employee of the Fulton Ice Plant,Hilliview Hospital and the former Fulton Bank (now Reelfoot Bank). In
addition, he was custodian at Rosenwald School, volunteer fireman for the City of South Fulton, and Maintenance of Way for the Illinois Central
Railroad. He was the sexton for the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter Cassandra Smith of South Fulton, TN, two sons Kenneth and Keith Irving both of Dresden, TN, a devoted adopted daughter Lisa G. Kinney of South Fulton, TN, a granddaughter Balencia Brooks of Milan, TN, an honorary son and devoted friend, John R. "Pete" Algee, a niece Ophelia Denise Poe of Buffalo, NY, who was his
princess until the birth of his daughter, and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and devoted neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his wife Beatryce Mayberry Smith and his parents Ophelia Bowman and Ernest Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wed., November 9, at the Jacksonville Freewill Bapitst Church, 202 College Street,South Fulton. Interment will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Jacksonville Freewill Baptist Church from 11 am Wednesday until the funeral hour.
