William "Tex" Smith

Mr. William "Tex" Smith, age 78, of South Fulton, TN
passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the
Baptist Memorial North Mississippi Hospital in Oxford, MS.

He was born on January 29, 1943 in Rhoda, KY to
the late William Frank and Anna Mae Key Smith.

Tex was a member of the Water Valley Baptist Church
and retired from Waymatic after 43 years as a welder.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda LeCornu Smith, whom
he married April 11, 1966, a daughter Lee Ann (Mitchell)
Glisson of South Fulton, TN, two grandchildren; Kevin
(Amber) Whitten of Martin, TN and Keri Lee (Tyler) Gray
of South Fulton, TN, four great-grandchildren; Reece Laine
Whitten and Mason David Whitten of Martin, TN, Addison
Lee Gray and Avery Margaret Gray of South Fulton, TN,
and a sister, Mary (Bob) Woolen of Louisville, KY.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one
brother and three sisters.

A visitation will be held from 4:30-7PM Friday in our funeral
chapel. Mask are preferred.
