William J. Sampson,Sr.

Mr. William J. Sampson Sr. of Fulton died on Sat. Nov.5 at Baptist Health Paducah.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in the Korean War. He worked in construction and spent most of his life in this area.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Sampson; a daughter Christine
Sampson Duckworth of Morganfield, KY; a son William J. Sampson Jr.
of Fulton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Lacewell and Ilene
Madding Sampson; and a daughter Valerie Sampson Gordon and two
brothers.
There will be a graveside service on Tues. Nov.8 at the Union Cemetery at 11 AM. There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service
