***WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING ANNOUNCEMENT***

Stephens, Wallace Keith "Wally", 83, of High Ridge, Missouri; entered into rest at his home on July 20, 2023.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lutrecia (Bennett) Stephens; two daughters, Lisa (John) LaFrance and Sharon (Mark) Davis; three grandchildren, Amanda (Austin) Lowe, Ryan LaFrance, and Madeline Davis; two great grandchildren, Jacob Lowe and Josie Lowe; and three siblings, Wanda Barker, Betty Archie, and Philip (Janice) Stephens; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sondra Ferguson.

Born September 11, 1939, in Obion County, TN; he was the son of the late Elsie and Carnell Stephens. After graduating from South Fulton High School in 1957, he went on to receive a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. He married his high school sweetheart in 1961. They moved to St. Louis, where he went to work for McDonnell Douglas Corporation (now Boeing), retiring as Facilities Manager in 2010 after 46 1/2 dedicated years. He and his wife were happily married for 61 years until his passing. He was a proud, kind, and loyal husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a problem solver and had a witty sense of humor. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or charity of choice.
