Mrs. Vickie Batts, age 63, of the Beelerton community passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 at her residence. She was born on October 1, 1960 in Pontiac, MI to the late W. C. Jones and Evelyn Jones Milner. She lived most of her life in the South Fulton and Beelerton communities.

Vickie was devoted to her Christian faith and was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church. She was also a dedicated wife, mother, and Granna. She committed 24 years of her life to serving the families of Hickman County Schools as the Director (retired) of the KAPS Family Resource Center in Clinton, KY.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Mark Batts, whom she married November 25, 1977; three sons: Jason Tyler (Cayce) of Beelerton, KY, Kevin Christopher (Layton) of Auburn, AL, and Eric Lee (Nicole) of Water Valley, KY; four grandchildren: Ava and William Batts of Auburn, AL, Nora and Ella Batts of Water Valley, KY; brother Bill (Barbara) Jones of Topeka, KS, her step-father, Billy Milner, of South Fulton, TN and sister-in-law, Cindy Jones, of Oklahoma City, OK.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Don Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Wesley Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 PM-8 PM Tuesday and after 9AM Wednesday until the hour of service.
