Travice Wallace Grissom

Mr. Travice Wallace Grissom died Sunday morning at the Parkway Regional Hospital.

He was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He had served in the Tennessee Army National Guard and had retired from the former General Tire Company in Mayfield,KY in 1994 where he had worked for 29 years. He had lived in this area all of his life.

He is survived by his wife Marolyn (Williamson) Grissom of South Fulton, whom he married December 19, 1964. 3 daughters: Melissa Brooks of South Fulton,TN, Pamela Edwards of Allen, TX and Beth Grissom of
Brentwood, TN; 5 grandchildren, 2 brothers Samuel Grissom of Lake
Placid,FL and Dwight Grissom of Smyrna, TN; and 2 sisters Wanda
Jackson of Palmersville, TN and Dorothy Engstrom of Pulaski, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Corene (Jones)
Grissom.

Funeral services will be held in our funeral chapel on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 11 am. Interment will be in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Monday and after 8am Tuesday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the South Fulton Baptist Church Building Fund
