Mr. Tommy Toon of South Fulton, TN died Tuesday at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.
He was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church and was a retired
supervisor from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Union City, TN. He was a 4 year member of the Murray State baseball team, a custom duck and goose call maker, an avid waterfowl hunter and enjoyed playing golf. He lived all of his life in Obion County.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Toon of South Fulton, TN, two daughters; Lisa Toon Malone of Knoxville, TN and Libby Toon McKnight of Fulton, KY, a son, Peter Toon of Fulton, KY, a stepson, Jimmy McCoy of Rainbow City, AL and a stepdaughter, Lori Dixon of Gadsden, AL, four grandchildren; Tyler Morris of Fulton, KY, Davis Malone of Knoxville, TN, Grant Malone of Knoxville, TN, Peyton Toon of Paducah, KY, four stepgrandchildren; Mike McCoy, Clay McCoy, Cole Dixon and Laura Ashley Wood all of Gadsden, AL and his mother Martha Toon Joyner of South Fulton, TN.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jewel Toon and a brother, Kent Toon.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30PM Friday in the Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12-2PM Friday.
