Tommy Bennett

December 16, 1942 — August 8, 2022

Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Clark Bennett, age 79, of Fulton, KY passed away
Monday, August 8, 2022 at the Baptist Hospital East in Memphis, TN.

He was born on December 16, 1942 in Obion County, TN to the 
late Buford and Maudie Belle Clark Bennett.

Tommy was a member of Crutchfield United Methodist Church
and was a self employed farmer. He received the Goodyear
Conservation Award in 1974 and in 1978 he received the 
Master Conservation Award. 

He is survived by his wife, Scarlet Turner Bennett, whom he married 
June 3, 1962, two daughters: Tammy (David) Elliott of Milburn, KY 
and Tonya (Shane) Brockwell of Fulton, KY, five grandchildren: 
Danielle (Justin) Potter of Loveland, CO, Derik (Madison) Elliott of Milburn,
KY, Morgan (Quincy) Elliott of West Paducah, KY, Cayce (Jason) Batts of 
Beelerton, KY and Cade Brockwell of Fulton, KY, six great-grandchildren:
Cason Potter of Loveland, CO, Addynn Potter of Loveland, CO, Channing
Elliott of Milburn, KY, Kylie Elliott of Milburn, KY, Camden Gamble of West 
Paducah, KY and Sophia Gamble of West Paducah, KY and a sister, Barbara 
(Joel) Nabors of South Fulton. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: 
James Bennett and Charles Bennett. 

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Friday, August 12, 2022 in our funeral
chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation
will be held at the funeral home from 6-8PM Thursday.
