Thelma Carol Covington

She was a lifelong member of the South Fulton United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She had lived in this area all of her life.

She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Debra Greer (Jimmy) of South Fulton, TN,
two sons and daughters in law, Jim and Kerri Covington of South Fulton,TN and Neal and Kelly
Covington of Chattanooga,TN, six grandchildren, Carmen Barclay,
Adam Greer, Reed Covington, Counce Covington, Josiah Covington, Brianna Covington,
one great grandchild, Caroline Barclay, one brother, James Milton Counce, Jr. of Dyersburg, TN, and a sister Peggy Nace of Jackson, TN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Covington, November 12, 2002 and her parents Ada Belle (Roach)and James Milton Counce.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, December 28,2008 at the South Fulton United Methodist Church and burial will be in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Saturday at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Covington will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. Sunday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the South Fulton United Methodist, 205 Orchard Drive, South Fulton, TN 38257.
