Terry Taylor

Mr. Terry (Buck) Taylor, age 79, of South Fulton, TN passed
away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at the Jackson Madison County
Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He was born on December 25, 1941 in Fulton County, KY
to the late William F. and Alice Elena Tuck Taylor.

Terry was a United States Army veteran and was a member
of Parkway Church of Christ where he was involved with
church jail ministries. He was also a South Fulton City
Commissioner, a member of the Fulton-South Fulton
Rotary Club, he led the Park Terrace Devotionals
and was an avid University of Tennessee Volunteers fan.
Terry worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber
Company for 40 years and retired as Union Steward for
United Steel Workers 878.

Terry is survived by his wife, Denice Rollins Taylor, whom
he married September 3, 1989, a daughter Bridgette Taylor
Grogan (Jeremy) of Murray, KY, four sons; Chad Taylor
(Shannon) of Fulton, KY, Justin Taylor (Madison) of
Water Valley, KY, Keith Connell (Michelle) of South Fulton,
TN and Kurtis Connell (Sharee) of South Fulton, TN, his
grandchildren; Taylor Garrison, Evan Garrison and
Emerson Grogan all of Murray, KY, Peyton Taylor of
Fulton, KY, Nick Kelly (Kayla) of Fulgham, KY,
Rachel Kelly and Levi Kelly both of Fulton, KY,
Charlee May Connell of South Fulton, TN, Alexis
Freeman of Sharon, TN, Dharma Grinder of Japan,
Delaney Grinder of Martin, TN, three great grandchildren,
three brothers; Tony Taylor (Marianne) of South Fulton, TN,
Doug Taylor of Memphis, TN and Steve Taylor (Jeannie) of
South Fulton, TN.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son,
Terry Shane Taylor, a daughter Mona Taylor and a sister
Janie Kitchin.

Pallbearers will be Chad Taylor, Keith Connell, Kurtis Connell,
Justin Taylor, Jeremy Grogan and Evan Garrison.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday in our funeral
chapel with Bro. Cecil May III officiating. Burial will follow in
the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at
the funeral home from 5-8PM Friday.
