T.J. Long

Mr. T.J. Long, age 39, of Dresden, TN and formerly 
of South Fulton, TN passed away Friday, March 10, 
2023 due to a boating accident on Kentucky Lake.

He was born on October 14, 1983 in Fulton, KY to JR
and Debby "Deb" Covey Long of Union City, TN.

T.J. was the owner of JR's Body Shop in South Fulton
and a graduate of South Fulton High School class of 2002.
He loved his family, hunting and fishing. T.J. also loved 
sports and coaching kids and working on cars.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Webb Long, whom he 
married August 19, 2006, a daughter Gabi Long, a son
GB Long, his parents JR and Deb Long, his father in law 
Ward (Sherry) Webb and mother in law Joy (Mike)
Brummal, a brother in law Matthew (Hillary) Webb 
of Clinton, KY, two sisters: Angela (Justus) Russom
of Humbolt, TN and Lisa Glass of Union City, TN
and several nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents:
James and Violet Covey and his paternal grandparents:
Freeman and Vallie Long. 

Memorial services will be held at 11AM Friday, March 17,
2023 in our funeral chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral
home from 3-8PM Thursday, March 16, 2023. 

Memorials may be made to the custodial account for T.J.'s
children, that is set up with Edward Jones in South Fulton, TN.
