Sue McClellan

May 31, 1920 — September 27, 2020

Mrs. Emma Sue Bransford McClellan entered her Heavenly home September
27, 2020, at the age of 100.

In her long and rewarding life, she was a devoted wife of 47 years, homemaker,
mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and "best mother-in-law ever".

Born in Fulton County, her parents were Richard Samuel Bransford and Emma
Irene Oliver Bransford. She had four older brothers that always adored their baby
sister. Many people in the Cayce community knew her as an energetic homeroom
mother, Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout den mother, church volunteer, and farmer's wife.

Sue was a member of the Cayce Baptist Church and a member of the
Fulton County Homemakers Club.

She was preceded in death by Harold Lunsford McClellan, her husband,
Harold Wilson McClellan, an infant son, four brothers Richard J., Raymond,
Samuel Leon, and Thomas Leroy Bransford, and a great grand-daughter
Annelise Irene Sharp.

Her family was her greatest joy and she was their most enthusiastic cheerleader.
She will be sorely missed. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Sue (Barry)
Sharp of Fulton, KY, and a son, James Wendell (Sherry) McClellan of Lexington,
KY, six grandchildren: Ben (Tiffany) Sharp of North Lake, TX, Sarah (Rob) Stern
of Berwyn, IL, Cayce (Jon) Scott of Kutztown, PA, Halley Sharp of Chicago, IL,
Kathleen (Scott) Roozbehi of Richlands, NC, and Michael McClellan of Jackson,
MS, three great-grandchildren: Sawyer Harold and Karina Emma Rayne Roozbehi
of Richlands, NC, and Charles Barron Sharp of North Lake, TX.

The graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, October 1, at the Rush
Creek Cemetery. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of the
service. All of "Mrs. Sue's" friends and her family are welcomed to come celebrate
the completion of a long and joyful life.

Memorials may be made to Rush Creek Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, c/o
Ellen Petty, 203 South Home Street, Union City, TN 38261 or Gideon's International,
PO Box 1325, Fulton, KY 42041.
