Mrs. Sue Jean Hopkins, age 76, of Hickman, KY (Rush Creek Community) passed away
Thursday, May 2, 2024, at The Waters in Union City, TN.

She was born on October 19, 1947, in Fulton County, KY to the
late Harry Sublett and Dortha Jean Jones Sublett.

Sue was a member of the Cayce Methodist Church and 
was a former school teacher at Trigg County High School.
She then retired as a Social Worker Supervisor in Fulton
County. Sue was also a member of the Daughters of The American
Revolution and the Fulton County Homemakers.

She is survived by her husband, Ted Hopkins, whom she married 
in 1968, a son Michael (Jennifer) Hopkins of Bonita Springs, FL,
three grandchildren: Sarah Elizabeth Hopkins of Bonita Springs, FL,
Cameron Sublett and Kennedy Sublett both of Cayce, KY, three
nephews: Bobby (Lacey) Sublett, Jr of Cayce, KY, Richard Dickey of
Paducah, KY and Doug Morehead of Metropolis, IL, three nieces:
Teresa Morehead of Florida, Kim Hughey of Martin, TN and Amy 
Pullen of Martin, TN, three sisters-in law: Martha Sublett of Martin,
TN, Dianne Dickey of Paducah, KY and Carol Morehead of Metropolis, IL.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death two brothers:
Harry "RoHo" Sublett III and Bobby "Rock" Sublett, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in
our funeral chapel with Rev. Jim Wolfgang and Rev. John Carroll officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rush Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Monday.

Memorials may be made to the Rush Creek Cemetery Maintenance Fund,
c/o Ellen Petty, 203 South Home Street, Union City, TN 38261.

Pallbearers include: Madison Hughey, Ashton Hughey, Allen Hughey,
Jeremy Jones, Jacob Jones, and Mason Pullen

Honorary Pallbearers include: Larry Gardner, Jerry Graham, Dennis Jones,
Glenn Howell, Monroe Bellew, Tommy Jones, and David Byrd.
