Sibyl Gambill Stroup

Mrs. Sibyl Gambill Stroup, age 97, of Prairie Grove, AR and formerly of this area, died March 22, 2017 at the Prairie Grove Health & Rehab in Arkansas.

She was a member of the Pilot Oak Church of Christ and had been a
massage therapist. She had lived in this area for many years before
moving to Arkansas.

Mrs. Stroup is survived by a son Larry Gambill of Greencastle, IN,
two daughters Patricia Gore of Farmington, AR and Genola Ayers
of Cornith, MS, a stepson Johnny Stroup of Fulton,KY; ten grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, six step great grand-children and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands Moulton R. Gambill and
Connie P. Stroup, her parents Horace Elton McCord and Mamie Ola
Overby McCord, a daughter Sandra Allen, two step sons Connie Gayle
Stroup and Dewayne Stroup, four brothers and a sister.



Funeral service will be held at 3 pm Sunday, March 26 in our funeral chapel and interment will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 pm Sunday until the funeral hour.
