Shirley Jean Rice

Mrs. Shirley Jean Rice, age 87, of Bardwell, KY and formerly
of Fulton, KY passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the 
Countryside Center in Bardwell, KY.

She was born on March 14, 1936 in Fulton County, KY
to the late Harry Rice and Myrtle Walton Rice.

She was a member of The Church of the Nazarene in Fulton,
KY and was a caregiver. Shirley was a former member of the 
Fraternal Order of Eagles, where she served as past president and 
secretary/treasurer. 

She is survived by a son John Wesley Lee, Jr of Hickory, KY,
four grandchildren: Jay Lee of Murfreesboro, TN, Kyle Wilkerson of 
Paducah, KY, Kayla Greene of Hickory, KY and Cody Wall of Murray,
KY and five great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters,
and two brothers. 

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday, January 22, 2024
in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11AM Monday until the 
hour of service. 

Pallbearers will be Micah Greene, Cody Wall, Roger Collins, Andy
Swallows, Kyle Wilkerson and Cody Collins.
