Shirley Jean Melton

Mrs. Shirley Jean Melton, age 76, of Martin, TN and formerly of this area died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

She was a homemaker and had been a former resident of McKenzie, TN
1969-2006.

Mrs. Melton is survived by her sister, Linda Edwards of South Fulton, TN,two nieces and a nephew; Jeannie Edwards of the Chestnut Glade
Community, Barbara Edwards of Fulton, William (Thomas) Edwards, four
great nephews, two great nieces, four great great nephews, one great
great niece and very close friends Jack and Wanda Hamilton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Stroud Melton, a son,
Bobby Dale Melton and her parents, Eugene Boyd and Lola Mae Mincey
Hathcock.



Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Monday.
