Shirley Bennett

Mrs. Shirley D. Bennett, age 82, of Conway, AR and 
formerly of Fulton, KY passed away Saturday, August 5, 
2023 in Conway, AR.

She was born on July 1, 1941 in South Fulton, TN  to the late
Curtis Brockwell and Clara Webb Brockwell. 

She was a member of Smith Street Church of Christ
and retired from the City of Fulton with many years 
as the City Treasurer. 

Shirley is survived by her children: Tracy (Adam) Thomas of
Conway, AR and Josh (Sonja) Bennett of Orlando, FL,
her grandchildren: Tabitha Bailey, Brock Thomas, Hogan Bennett,
Cassidy Bennett and Charlize Bennett, her great-grandchildren:
Bennett Bailey, Fisher Bailey, Cooper Bailey and Frazier Thomas
and three sisters: Janie Huff of Brighton, MI, Brenda Bonds of 
Evansville, IN and Wanda Brown of Fulton, KY. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband
Robert Anthony Bennett and two brothers: Terry Bennett and
Ronald Brockwell.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, August 9,
2023 in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. There will be no 
visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the 
cemetery at the hour of service.
