Sharon Pirtle

Mrs. Sharon Elizabeth Hackett Pirtle, age 78, of South Fulton,
TN passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the 
West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Martin Hospital.

She was born on September 9, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ
to the late William Peter Hackett and Margaret Morrison
Thomas Hackett.

Sharon was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton 
and was a retired School Teacher from the Fulton Independent School
System. She loved old movies, keeping up with movie stars and decorating
for the holidays. She also loved shopping, the beach and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David Mack Pirtle, whom she 
married August 5, 1967, a son David Mack (Bridget) Pirtle II of
Fulton, KY and a daughter, Kellea Margaret (David) Grant of
Rutherford, TN and a granddaughter , Elizabeth Pirtle of Fulton, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter
Annie Ruth Pirtle, who passed away December 10, 2023 and a 
brother, Kevin Hackett. 

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday, December 31, 2023
in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Water Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11AM Sunday until the 
hour of service.
