Sam Beaman, age 82, of Fulton died Sunday in Ocala, Florida.
He was a member of the Smith Street Church of Christ in South Fulton, TN and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He a member of the Roberts Masonic Lodge in Fulton,KY., the American Legion and president of Woodmen Lodge #4 in Fulton, KY. He was retired and had worked for the former Hadley Adhesive Company in Fulton, Air Products in Calvert City, KY and also for the Wal-Mart store in Fulton, KY.
He is survived by his wife Marguerite (Hainline) Beaman of Fulton,KY, a daughter Sammie Kaye Taylor of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a stepson Gary Stephens of South Fulton, TN.; a granddaughter Tara Lynn Taylor of Hollywood, CA ,
3 step granddaughters - Wendy Stewart of Fulton,KY, Lisa Sykes of Paris, TN and Stacey Stephens of South Fulton, 3 step great grandchildren, Halley and Remington Stewart of Fulton KY., and Curtis Sykes of Paris, TN., and a sister Mary Alice Luther of Mayfield, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mattie (Cain) and Frank Beaman and a sister.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 2 pm at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will on Saturday from 10 am until the funeral hour.
