Sallie Louise Chambers

Sallie Chambers, age 95, of Chicago, IL and formerly of South Fulton,TN, died September 8, 2012 at the Renaissance Park South in Chicago, IL.

She was the oldest member in years of service of the Bells Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Fulton,KY, where she served in the following positions: Member of the Senior Choir, Member of the Steward Board, Member of the Stewardess Board, Sunday School Superintendent. She attended the Allen Metropolitan C.M.E. church in Chicago and was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter Treva (Paul)Kerney of Chicago, IL,
and a son Rev. Will Earl (Judith) Chambers of Easton, MD; two grandchildren, Gina (Homer) Britton of Antioch, TN and Carissa Chambers of King, NC; two
great grandchildren, Homer Britton VI of Heritage, TN and Christopher Leslie of King, NC .

She was preceded in death by her husband Hall Chambers, her parents
Carrie (Galloway) and Ameal Hunter, a sister Ruth Bowman and a brother Walter Hunter.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, September 14 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton and interment will follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 am Friday until the funeral hour.
