Ruth Morrison

Mrs. Ruth Morrison, age 88, of the McConnell community died December 21, 2014 at her home.

She was a member of the McConnell Baptist Church and was a member
of the Joy Sunday School Class. She had been a self employed
beautician and had lived in this area all of her life.

She is survived by her husband Dean Morrison of the McConnell
community, whom she married May 23,1973; two daughters and their
spouses Katie McMinn (Jimmy) and Debbie Moss (Mike), all of Martin,
TN and a son Ronnie Cashion of Dresden, TN; seven grandchildren
and their spouses: Mark McMinn(Allison) and Michelle Bruner(Keven),
all of Martin,TN, Jennifer McConnell (John Lane) and Melanie Kimbel
(Jason), all of South Fulton,TN, Chris Cashion (Janice), Shannon
Cashion (Stephanie) and Rhonda Batten (Omar), all of Dresden,
TN;sixteen great grandchildren, three sisters Nancy Mahan of Lansing,
MI, Joann Williams of Pittsburg, TX and Shirley Mason of Martin, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Odell McMillin
Mason, a daughter in law Pat Cashion, a brother Charlie Mason and
two sisters Dorothy Brooks and Syrinia Byrd.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, December 23 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and burial will follow in the Sandy Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Monday and anytime Tuesday until the funeral hour.
