Ruth Clifton Gill, 92 of Beaufort, SC, formerly of Hickman County, died Monday, August 24, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Bennie Alexander and Blanch Brown Clifton.
She was also preceded by her husband, Buford Gill; son, Richard M. Gill; brothers, Aaron Brown Clifton; Harry Daniel Clifton; and Charles Burton Clifton.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gill (James B.) Hicks of Beaufort, S.C.; daughter-in-law, Allene Gill Ballew; 2 granddaughters; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law; 3 nieces; and 2 nephews.
She was a nurse at Hickman Community Hospital for over twenty five years. She was a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church since 1958.
Visitation will be at the McDonald Funeral Home, 102 West End Ave., Centerville, TN 37033, on Friday, August 28 from 4-8 pm and the funeral service will be on Sat. August 29 at 1 pm also at the McDonald Funeral Home.
