Ruby Jewell Witt

She was a member of the Knob Creek Church Of Christ and had been a waitress at the former Park Terrace and Country Boy Restuarants. She had lived in this area all of her life.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Datha Ann Scott and Glenda Sue
Wade, both of South Fulton,TN and Penny Lynn Powell of Fulton, KY.
10 grandchilden, 29 great grandchildren, 5 sisters: Vivian Sullivan of Mayfield, KY, Ester Simon of South Fulton, TN, Kathleen Cantrell of Florida, Shirley Abernathy of Lansing,
Michigan, and Pat Hale of South Fulton,TN and a brother -
Oscar Tibbs of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband - J.C. Witt, her parents-Carl and Perlie (Gardner) Tibbs, a son - Bobby Glen Witt, a grandchild and 3 brothers- Olie Tibbs, Glen Tibbs and Bert Tibbs.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm Thursday in our funeral chapel with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Dukedom. Visitation for Mrs. Witt will be from 5-8 Wednesday and anytime after 8 am Thursday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital 501 St. Jude Place
