Roscoe "Lou" Hutchins

May 8, 1924 — October 16, 2011

Mr. Roscoe "Lou" Hutchins, age 87, of Fulton, KY died 4:10 pm. October 16 at his home.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton, KY, was a retired supervisor for the Ferry Morse Seed Company and was co-owner of the former Parkway Manor Nursing Home. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a former Fulton County Magistrate and member of the Roberts Masonic Lodge, where he was past Deputy District Grand Master. He was also an avid sportsman, member of the Local 816 IBEW out of Paducah, KY and a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by three children: Steven (Kay) Hutchins of Fulton, KY, Deborah (Don) Lattus of Hickman, KY and Kent (Lisa) Hutchins of Fulton, KY; Six grandchildren, Lori Crocker of South Fulton, TN, Chad Hutchins of Tampa, FL, Jason Lattus of Union City, TN, Carrie Lattus
Meisner of Tonganoxie, KS, Erin Hutchins of Nashville, TN and Garrett Hutchins of Fulton, KY and six great grandchildren: Kayla and Kristen Crocker, Alexis and Aiden Hutchins, Tucker Hutchins and Jake Lattus.
Also survived by three brothers Weldon Hutchins, Earl Hutchins and
James Gilliam Hutchins, all of Wingo, KY.

He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Campbell Hutchins, his
Parents, Ora Nora (Copeland) and William Vester Hutchins, four
sisters Ethel Poole, Esther Jones, Frances Hayden and Gladys Cash and two brothers W.B. Hutchins and William Leonard Hutchins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, October 18 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Monday, October 17 and after 8 am Tuesday until the funeral hour.
