Roland Adams

January 21, 1934 — October 24, 2008

George Roland Adams of the Cayce community died early Friday morning at the Dyersburg Manor in Dyersburg, TN.

He was a member of the Moscow Baptist Church where he had served as treasurer for 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a retired
farmer who had lived in this area all of his life. He was also an avid UK Basketball fan.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Howard (Ballow) Adams of the Cayce community, whom he married November 11, 1960. A daughter and son in law - Amber (Adams) and Monty Long of Dyersburg, TN. 2 grandchildren
Abby Dean Long of Murfreesboro, TN and Lexie Adams Long of Dyersburg,TN. A brother Raymond Adams of Fulton, KY and a sister Kathryn Robertson of Little Rock, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents - Raymond Fredrick Adams and Flora May (Henry) Adams, a son - Robin Ballow Adams, and 4 brothers-Richard Adams, Robert Adams, Ralph Adams and Russell Adams.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2008 in our funeral chapel with burial in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon Sunday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the Moscow Baptist Church 153 Arrington Rd., Clinton, KY 42031.
