Mr. Rodney A. Miller age 88, of Fulton, KY died September 3, 2013 at Parkway Regional Hospital.
He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Fulton, KY and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served in World War II. He was a retired attorney from the Miller & Nanney Law Firm; he served on the Board of Directors for City National Bank from Feb. 12, 1980 to Mar. 10, 1998 and served as City Attorney for 9 years, served on the Fulton Electric Plant Board and the Fulton City School Board. He also was a former owner/operator of Haws Memorial Nursing Home which they sold in 1984. He had
lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by four daughter; Merideth (Larry) Wood of Humboldt, TN; Allyson Wilhite of Chico, CA; Paige Miller of Memphis, TN; Susan Miller of Fulton, KY and one son Scott Miller of Athens, GA, and eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Lois Jean Miller, his parents Dr. William C. and Mabel E. Baker Miller and one sister.
He will be remembered as a extremely intelligent man with the heart of a saint and who had great love for his family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Friends may call the funeral home after 1 pm Friday until the funeral hour.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter, Kaden Tower, 6100 Dutchmans LN STE 401, Louisville, KY 40205 or the charity of your choice.
