Mr. Robert Lee Copeland, of Fulton,KY died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at his home.
He was a member of the Harris Station Methodist Church and was the
groundskeeper for the Fulton Country Club. He was a veteran of the
U.S. Navy where he served in the Vietnam War. He had lived in this
area all of his life.
He is survived by a daughter Carla Copeland Barham of Fulton, KY, a grandchild Camelia Goodman and a great grandchild Hunter Gus Goodman, both of Fulton, KY; four brothers George Thomas Copeland of Ocean Springs, MS, Jerry Copeland of Sulligent, AL, Bill Copeland of Sharon, TN, and C.R. Copeland, Jr. of South Fulton, TN, two sisters Diana Cunningham of Fulton, KY and Pamela Resenic of Colleyville, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clara (Wimberly) and Clarence R. Copeland, and two brothers James Riley Copeland and
Franklin Tanzel Copeland.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday at Mounds City National Cemetery in Mounds, IL. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for graveside services.
