Richard B. Scearce

Mr. Richard B. Scearce, age 78, of the Cayce Community died Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Baptist East in Memphis, TN.
He was a member of the Cayce Baptist Church and the Castro Valley,
California Lodge No. 713. Mr. Scearce was a retired veteran of the United States Navy and a former Personal Director for the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TN. He lived most of his life in this area.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kay Wilson Scearce, a son,
Richard Michael Scearce of Memphis, TN, a step-son Dick Bowman
of Saint Joseph, MO, two step grandchildren; Chad Bowman and Pete
Bowman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Ruth Reid Scearce
and a sister Carline Scearce.
Graveside services will be held at 11AM Saturday in the Cayce Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
