Richard Castleman

Mr. Richard Odell Castleman, age 80, of Latham, Weakley
County, TN passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at the Vanderbilt 
Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

He was born on January 11, 1943 in Fulton, KY to the 
late Cary Odell "C.O" Castleman and Rachel Geneva
Ingrum Castleman.

Richard was a member of the Sandy Branch Primitive 
Baptist Church in Weakley County, TN. He retired
from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and was also
a retired farmer. 

He is survived by three sons: Jim (Lisa) Castleman of
Limestone, TN, Tim Castleman of Dukedom, TN, Brian 
Castleman of Palmersville, TN, a daughter Elizabeth Stephenson of 
Pilot Oak, KY, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two
sisters: Jean Fagan of Martin, TN and Violet (David) Heathcott of
Latham, TN.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers:
George Woodrow Castleman and Randall Leon Castleman, his
wives: Shirley Mae Hunter and Mary Juanita Casper.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, April 26,
2023 at the Sandy Branch Primitive Baptist Church with burial to 
follow in the Sandy Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the 
church from 9AM Wednesday until the hour of service.
