Raymond Leon Harrison

Mr. Raymond Leon Harrison passed away on Sunday, November 4,2018
at Diversicare of Fulton.

He was born on March 16, 1923 in Fulton Co.KY. He married his high
school sweetheart Dorothy Louise Jones on April 27, 1941. He was a
graduate of Cayce High School - Class of 1941. He was a farmer and
well known carpenter, having built many houses in this area. He was
a member of the Liberty Baptist Church where he served as a deacon
for 56 years and also taught Men's Sunday School Class for many
years. He was an avid deer hunter having killed his 65th deer at age
89 years old.

He is survived by his wife of 77 years, Dorothy Harrison, a son Bobby
Leon Harrison and a daughter Cindy Lou Harrison, all of Fulton,KY;
two granddaughters Melanie (Greg) Curlin of Fulton, KY and Valerie
(Todd) Warren of Murray,KY; five great grandchildren: Casey(Layton)
Scarbrough of Owensboro,KY, Allie (Matthew) Webb of Lexington, KY,
Mallory (Tyler) Gobble of Spring Hill, TN, Zach Rickman and Emma
Warren, both of Murray, KY; three great great grandchildren Ella Kate
and Haddi J. Gobble, both of Spring Hill and Harrison Lee Webb of
Lexington, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hermon and Eula Roper
Harrison,a son Jimmie Lee Harrison, a brother Edwin Harrison and
two sisters Alberteen Carver and Hylda Sloan.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 7 at
the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Obion Co.
Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm
on Tuesday.
