Phillip White

July 28, 1937 — April 7, 2021

James Phillip White, 83, peacefully passed away at his home in
Fulton, Kentucky on April 7, 2021.

He was an only child born in Fulton on July 28, 1937 to Harold and Margaret Foy
White. Phil attended Fulton City High school and Murray State University before
joining the Air Force becoming a pilot. He rose to the ranks of Lieutenant Colonel
piloting the Air Force’s largest airplane, the C-5 Galaxy. While in the service Phillip
also continued his education by earning an MBA from Central Michigan University.

Phillip married the love of his life, Dorothy Stauffer (Dottie) on April 7, 1962 while
stationed in Charleston, SC. Together they have two children: a daughter Jaime (Chris)
Koziol of Paradise Valley, AZ and son Jeffery (Nina) White of Dewey, AZ.

After serving our country for 22 years, Phil and Dottie retired to his family farm outside
of Fulton. He was an active member of the Lions Club for forty years serving as president in 1983.

He was known as “Papatucky” to his four grandchildren: Blakeley Koziol of Nashville, TN; Casey
Koziol and Travis Koziol of Phoenix, AZ; and Dylan Petersen of Kennesaw, GA, where they spent
every summer with him on the farm called The White House.

He was baptized into the Church of Christ and remained faithful until his death.

Graveside services will be held at Enon Cemetery on Saturday, April 17th at 4pm.

Phillip was a strong believer in supporting America’s veterans. Any memorials can
be made to the DAV - Disabled American Veteran
