Pauline Yates Gunter

Mrs. Pauline Yates Gunter, age 97, of Fulton, KY, died August 24,2017 at the Clinton-Hickman County ICF nursing home.
She had been a member of the Mt. Zion Old Cumberland Presbyterian
Church for over 69 years. She and her husband farmed and lived in this area most of their lives.
Mrs. Gunter is survived by sons George Ray (Karen) Gunter of South
Fulton, TN and Larry (Betty) Gunter of Indianland, SC; four grandchildren:Greg (Shawn) Gunter of Martin, TN, Dawn (Franco) Gabriele of Apollo Beach, FL, Ginger Gunter of East Greenbush, NY and Alicia (Jim) Bookout of Destin, FL; five great grandchildren, a sister in law Bobbi Yates of Mayfield, KY and a brother in law Billy Clark of South Fulton, TN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Gunter, her parents
Tubb and Inez Tyler Yates, three brothers: Nathan (Ruth) Yates of Fairhope,AL, James (Barbara) Yates and Melvin (Jean) Yates of Fulton,KY and a sister Marion Clark of South Fulton,TN.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 26 at the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens near Union City, TN. There will be no visitation held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
Memorials may be made to the Hickman County-Clinton Ambulance Service, 55 U.S. Hwy. 51 N., Clinton, KY 42041 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
