Paul Champagne

Mr. Paul David Champagne, 57, of Hickman, KY, passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 29, 2023. 

Paul was born on October 5, 1965 in Hammond, LA to the late Charles David Champagne and Josephine Hodges Champagne Sutton. He was known in Hickman as "Uncle Paul". Paul loved going superfast in anything that had an engine. He enjoyed auto mechanics, rebuilding motors, and had many hobbies such as fishing, hunting, shooting pool, and drinking a cold beer. 

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by a brother, Kelly Bankston and a brother in law Danny Mack Haney. He is survived by his brothers, Todd Champagne of Los Angeles, CA, Jason (Amy) Hood of Hammond, LA, David Bankston of North Carolina, Donnie Joe (Michelle) Sutton of Franklin, TN, sisters, Tracey Ann Champagne of Hickman, KY, Amy (Shane) Scioneaux of Gonzales, LA, step mother Francine Champagne of Hammond, LA, nephews, Ryan "Big Red" (Jenae) Barnett, Elijah Barnett, Dalton Haney, J.B. Newman, of all Hickman, KY, Braxton and Cole Sutton of Franklin, TN, Tyler and Landon Scioneaux of Gonzales, LA, nieces Tayla and Jazmen Barnett of Hickman, KY, Jordan (Michael) Doucet, and Whitney (Travis) Clement of Hammond, LA, Erica (Brennan) King of Hammond, LA, great nieces, Lena and Poppi Clement of Hammond, LA, Brock and Braylon Faunce of Hammond, LA, Brant Burns of Hammond, LA and many cousins and friends. 

Funeral services for Mr. Paul Champagne will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the West Baptist Church in Hickman, KY with Bro. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. 

Visitation will held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the West Baptist Church.
