Nelson D. "Corky" Hill

Mr. Nelson D. "Corky" Hill, age 84, of Hickman, KY died Wednesday,
April 23, 2014 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN

He was a member of the Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church and was the former
Fulton County Sheriff for 16 years. He was the former President of the
Kentucky Sheriffs Association and lived most of his life in Cayce and
Hickman, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Betty Jean Ethridge Hill, two
sons, Robert "Bobby" Wayne Hill of Vermont, Terry Nelson Hill of
Hickman, KY, two grandchildren, Nelson David "Bubba" Hill of
Alberdeen, MD and Beth Lee Stanley of Marinette, WI, two great grandchildren,
Isabella Hill and Kimmie Skrivanek both of WI, a sister Frances Odom of
Paducah, KY and a brother Billy Hill of Aurora, KY.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lynn Lee and Bessie Lee Grubbs
Hill, three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday in our funeral chapel with
burial to follow in the Cayce cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Friday and
anytime Saturday until the service hour.
