Mrs. Nancy Wharton, age 66, of Martin, TN died October 14, 2013 at her son's residence in Weakley County, TN
She was a member of McConnell Baptist Church and was a retired clerk from the United States Postal Service where she worked for 32 years in Nashville and Union City. She lived most of her life in Obion County, TN.
She is survived by two sons Thomas N. Wharton of Martin, TN and Matthew Scott Wharton of Jackson, TN, two step-sons David B. Wharton of Union City, TN, Robert E. Wharton of Newbern, TN, five grand children; Matthew G. Wharton of Greenfield, TN, Angelina N. McClure of Dresden, TN, Candice Joy Wharton of Dresden, TN, Morghan E. Ray of Union City, TN,
Meghan L. Posey of Alabama, one great grandchild Kayson Posey of Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents William Lewis and Helen Louise McIntyre Matthews, one son William Brian Wharton and a half brother Bobby Joe Craddock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 16 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in South Fulton,TN.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Tuesday and anytime Wed. until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to Memorial Bible Fund, P. O. Box 487, Martin, TN 38237
