Mozell Hammond Carr

Mrs. Mozell Hammond Carr, age 91, of the Cayce community passed
away on Sunday, March 23, 2019 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in
Union City, TN.

Mrs. Carr was a member of the Cayce Baptist Church and the Senior Ladies
Sunday School Class. She had been a payroll clerk for the former Salant
& Salant Company in Union City, TN for 35 years. She had lived in the
Cayce community all of her life.

She is survived nephews and a niece and several great nieces and
great nephews.

Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her husband Dairus Carr on Feb.
7, 2019, her parents Lucile Scearce Hammond and Irby Wallace Hammond
and a sister Margaret Hammond Sloan.

Memorials may be made to the Cayce Baptist Church, Box 41 Holly Circle,
Fulton, KY 42041 or to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place,
Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, March 27 at the Hornbeak
Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 am Wednesday until the funeral
hour.
