Mildred Ruelle Pruett
July 15, 1931 — February 28, 2012
Mrs. Mildred Ruelle Pruett, age 80, of South Fulton, TN died 5:31 pm, February 28, 2012 at the Haws Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Fulton, KY.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in
Fulton and was very active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the church which included Relief Society, Primary, and Young Women's Organization. She had been a press operator for the former Martin Manufacturing Company in Martin, TN. She had lived in South Fulton most of her life.
She is survived by a daughter Wanda L. Wade of Water Valley, KY and four sons James Michael Pruett of Union City, TN, David L. Pruett and Keith J. Pruett, both of South Fulton, TN and Darryl R. Pruett of Highlands,
IL; 12 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, a brother Eddie
Nathaniel Hicks of Water Valley, KY and two sisters Lillian Faye Price of Fayetteville, AR and Evelyn Phillips of South Fulton, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Pruett,Jr., her
parents Ed and Neatie Hicks, a sister Nadine Brewington and a grandchild Christy Wade.
Pallbearers will be Michael Pruett, Tony Pruett, Andrew Pruett,Todd Pruett, Joseph Pruett and Ed Brewer.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, March 2 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 501 Wells Ave., Fulton, KY. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Thursday, March 1 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and on Friday from 8- 9:30 am at the church.
