Mr. Mike Jones, age 64, of the McConnell community died Friday morning, June 16, 2017 at his home.
He was a member of the McConnell Baptist Church and was a retired
farmer and truck driver. He had lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce King Jones of McConnell,TN; Jennifer Jones Hannon (Joey) of Clinton,KY, Melissa Jones of McConnell,TN, Megan Hardin (Ben) of Union City, TN, Mason Owens and Maggie Owens, both of Palmersville, TN; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers Bobby Jones (Linda) of South Fulton,TN, Ricky Mason of Sharon, TN, two sisters Renee Mason of Palmersville, TN and Linda Cherry of Dukedom, TN, a sister in law Jan Polsgrove (Jimmy) of South Fulton, TN, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Robert Jones and
Dorothy Adelle LeCornu Jones, and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, June 24 at the McConnell Baptist Church with burial to follow in the McConnell Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the McConnell Baptist Church from 10 am Saturday until the hour of service.
