Mr. Don Michael (Mike) Homra of Fulton passed away
early Friday, June 18, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on March 13, 1937 in Fulton, KY to the late
Willie Elias Homra and Aline Noffel Homra. Mike was
the owner/operator of Leader Store and Leader Travel and
a member of First United Methodist Church. He had lived
in the area all of his life.
He is survived by four daughters, Michelle Wheat (Joe Ray)
of Union City, TN, Valerie Johnstone (Mark) of Jackson, TN,
Stephanie Simmons (Chip) of Lexington, KY and Bridget Pirtle
(David Mack) of Fulton, KY, nine grandchildren, Kelly McDaniel
(Shane) of Lexington, KY, Kristen Greer of Union City, TN, Foster
Johnstone of Charleston, SC, Mary Parker Johnstone of Memphis,
TN, Aline Wells Johnstone of Annapolis, MD, Molly Simmons and
Maggie Simmons of Lexington, KY, Elizabeth Pirtle and Annie Ruth
Pirtle of Fulton, KY and three great grandchildren, Myla McDaniel,
Maddox McDaniel and Mason McDaniel all of Lexington, KY.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Joan Tune
Homra and his brother, William A. (Bill) Homra.
A private service will be held.
