Melinda Kay Mayo

Mrs. Melinda Mayo, 43, of Union City, TN, died October 12, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.

She was born February 20, 1978 to Donald and Betty Jo Ramsey of Hickman, KY. 

Melinda was a member of the First Pentecostal Church Union City, TN. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Herman Mayo of Union City, TN, sons, Conner Mayo of Union City, TN and Christopher Mayo of Knoxville, TN, daughter, Lauren Mayo of Union City, TN sisters, Stephanie Larsen of Hoyt, KS and Stacey Sibert of Sandusky, OH and 2 grandchildren, Isabella and Paisley Mayo.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 16^th at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Uzzle officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownsville Cemetery near Hickman, KY.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Strong Funeral Home on Friday, October 15^th.

Pallbearers will be: Tommy Sibert, Chris Sibert, John Larsen, Danny Bailey, Brison Dorian and Bobby Mayo.
