Mrs. Maxine Whittington, age 90, formerly of Pilot Oak, KY died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Mills Health & Rehab in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church in Mayfield, KY. She moved to Pilot Oak, KY in 1983 from Detroit, MI.
She is survived by one daughter, Benita House, two sons; Bobby
and Norman House, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Whittington, her
parents Fred Allyn and Lora B. Osborne Mullins.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday at the Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the service hour. Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
