Ms. Maxine Matthews, age 84, of Martin, TN,
passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024,
at the Diversicare in Martin, TN.

She was born in Hellspoint, TN on July 8, 1939, to
the late Ruby Lawrence Matthews and Gertie Hardy
Matthews.

As a child she attended The Chestnut Glade School
and was a member of the Riceville Baptist Church
in Fulton. She is survived by one brother W.C. "Mary"
Matthews of South Fulton TN, and one Brother-in-Law
Hank Vermillion of South Fulton TN.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by one sister
Joan Vermillion and one brother Jackie Matthews.

Gravesides services for Ms. Matthews will be held at 2PM
Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and
friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
