Maxine Johnson

Mrs. Maxine Johnson, age 88, of Fulton, KY and formerly of Southern, IL
passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Fulton Nursing and Rehab
Center in Fulton, KY.

She was born on March 9, 1931 in Perks, IL to the late Meredith and Cleta
Gillett Isom.

Maxine was a member of the Union Church in Villa Ridge, IL and was
member of the Order of Eastern Star-Caledonia 587. She has lived in
Fulton for the past nine years.

She is survived by her twin daughters; Linda Johnson and Brenda Meislohn
both of Fulton, KY, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great
grandson, two brothers; Kenny Isom of Texas and Meredith James "Jimmy" Isom,
Jr of Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Paul
"Bud" Johnson, a son Danny Ray Johnson, two sisters and four brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Thursday at the Mound National Cemetery
in Mound City, IL. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are
asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
