Sue Melton

Mrs. Sue Melton, age 90 of Fulton, KY,
passed away December 14, 2023 at the Jackson
Purchase Medical Center, in Mayfield, KY.

Mrs. Melton was born May 12, 1933 in Union
City, TN to the late J.C. Barham and Susie
Pauline (Caruthers) Barham.

Sue lived in this area all her life and was a
self employed beautician and a member of
the Pilot Oak Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Jim Melton
to whom she was married to for 51 years.
Sue is also survived by two grandchildren;
Vincent Lowry of Dukedom, KY and
Patrick (Stephanie) Lowry of Pilot Oak, KY;
three great-grandchildren, Vin Lowry and
Blaine Lowry both of Mayfield KY and
Kobe Lowry of Pilot Oak, KY.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in
death by three children, one sister and two
brothers.

Graveside services will be held 11am Saturday
December 16, 2023 at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
All family and friends are asked to meet at the
cemetery at the hour of service. There will be
no visitation held at the funeral home.
