Mary Lou Rushton

Mrs. Mary Lou Rushton, age 90, of Fulton,KY passed away on Thursday,
November 28, 2019 at the Fulton Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born in Riceville, KY on March 12, 1929 to the late E.L. and
Clara Lee King Merryman. She was a member of the Riceville Baptist
Church and had been a waitress for the former Smith Cafe and The
Derby Restaurant. She was also a member of the Eastern Star for
53 years and was a member of the Fulton County Genealogy Society.
She had lived in this area all of her life.

Mrs. Rushton is survived by her husband Leon Edward Rushton of
Fulton, KY, whom she married April 3, 1965, a son Gary Fulcher of
Fulton,KY, step son David Rushton of Oklahoma, step daughters
Brenda Payne of New Orleans, LA and Mary Eaves of Birmingham, AL,
two grandchildren Chris Fulcher (Melissa)of Fulton, KY and Kim Pool
(Jesse) of South Fulton, TN, two great grandchildren Olivia Fulcher
and Corbin Fulcher, both of Fulton, KY and a brother Lester Merryman
of Lancaster, CA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first
husband J.B. Fulcher, a daughter Kathy Gwin, adopted son Anthony
Rushton and two brothers David Merryman and Roy Merryman.

Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, December 3rd at the Riceville
Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation
will be at the Riceville Baptist Church from 9 am - 11 am on Tuesday.
