Mary Lou Beard

Mrs. Mary Lou Beard, age 91, of the Beelerton community died Saturday morning, March 11,2017 at the Clinton-Hickman Co. ICF nursing home.

She had been a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church for over 70 years and had worked for 11 years as a seamstress for the former Henry I. Siegel Clothing Company in South Fulton,TN. After over 12 years of service as a nurse's aide she retired from the West Kentucky Manor Nursing Home in Clinton, KY. She had lived in this area all of her life.

Mrs. Beard is survived by a daughter Pat Collins of Fulton,KY, five
grandchildren and their spouses: Tony Lee Blalock (Jodie) of Fulton,KY,Timmy Blalock (Jennifer) of Water Valley, KY, Tracy Bennett (Jeff) of South Fulton, TN, Teresa Decker of Martin,TN and Andy Collins (Susanne)of Paris, TN, ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren and a brother JC Jackson of Water Valley, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold "Buck" Beard,
her parents Jackie Jackson and Onice Conner Jackson Choate, a son Joe
Lee Beard, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service will be 1 pm Tuesday, March 14 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:30 - 8 pm on Monday and after 8 am on Tuesday until the funeral hour.
