Mary Jane Walker Higgins

November 25, 1951 — February 5, 2020

Mrs. Mary Jane Walker Higgins of Smyrna, TN and  formerly of the Beelerton Community passed away Wednesday at the Stone Crest Hospital in Smyrna, TN.

Mrs. Higgins was born November 25, 1951 to the late James C. Walker and Frankie M. Burress Walker, she married Edwin Higgins July 1, 1981, he survives.

Mrs. Higgins is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law Jessica M. Taylor (Dan) of Hermitage, TN., one son Jon D. Higgins of Shelbyville, TN., 

one granddaughter Sophia Grace Higgins and Sophia's mother Ashleigh Butcher of Smyrna, TN.

She is preceded in death by one son Jim Higgins, one daughter Suzane Babb and one brother Donnie Walker.

Mrs. Higgins was a member of  the Water Valley Pentecostal Tabernacle Church and was also a Eastern Star member.

She was a homemaker and had previously worked as a journeyman carpenter.

Funeral services for Mrs. Higgins will be held Wednesday February 12 at 11 am in our Funeral Chapel, burial will follow in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton, KY.

Visitation will be held Tuesday February 11 from 5-8 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel.
